One of the true joys of digging is the friendships and laughs along the way. Some huge efforts from the digging team over the last 10 days, with Tim, Roger and Sonja leading the pack. However, as we were getting soaked yesterday, a Roe deer appeared at the end of the field, gracefully jumped a ditch and bobbed up and down across a wheat field. A magic moment. As was finding the sizeable piece of grey pot in the picture.
