More hard work today, not only on the trenches but in preparing for our 3 public open days that start tomorrow. One fantastic find today was an Edward 1 penny. As we dig out the trenches we find thins but as the earth creates a spoil heap, that heap is also searched and this coin from around 1300 AD was discovered.
