2018/19 Speaker Programme

Welcome to details about our 2018/19 Speaker programme.

Booking a place at any of the events is simple. You can either use the contact form on this website or send a text message to 07765 172450. Please note this number is set up for text messages only and not for voice calls.

You can book for any of the events in advance but you must leave your name (first and last), how many seats you want, a contact telephone number and the event or events you wish to come to.

All events start at 7.30pm and will be held at Mendi’s restaurant in Old Market, Wisbech. Ticket payment will be taken on the door. The cost, unless otherwise advertised, is £3 per person or free to members of FenArch.

Our speaker on 28 November was Lawrence Billington and a full house thoroughly enjoyed his talk which walked us through the Fens in the Upper Palaeolithic and Mesolithic era. Fascinating stuff and we now take a break for Christmas and New Year celebrations. Our speaker programme resumes on 27 February but we do have a members meeting on 23 January. As well as our normal business we have Amanda Carlin coming to speak to us about the work at Stonea.
